Online Payment Portal
We have a new online payment option to allow for payment of penalties. Payment may be made via credit card or through an ACH transaction. A $1.50 convenience fee will be charged for all online payments. Additionally, credit card payments will be charged the 2.5% credit card processing costs. ACH transactions will be charged a flat $1.50 fee for the processing costs.

[Please note: Due to system limitations, any fines for less than $20 cannot be paid electronically and must be paid by check issued to the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board.]
Pay by Check
If you wish to avoid any convenience or processing fees, you may still pay via check. Checks should be made out to State of Iowa and mailed to:

All payments are deposited into the General Fund of the State of Iowa. The Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board retains $10 of any penalty payment to help offset costs in collecting the penalty. Failure to pay a civil penalty may result in additional legal action.
